| Fresh | Not Fussy We lived 100 metres from Sean's for a number of its early years. It was so apparent to us as soon as it opened that Sean and Michael were both passionate about their produce and food. That balance of sand-in-your-toes casual and super-fresh simple quality is very Australian I think. No constructed towers of food, no garnish, just uncompromisingly good stuff on a clean white plate. And then there was the time that we took a dear friend from LA to show off our favourite haunt. Fresh local "Jewfish" was on the blackboard that night, and this friend actually thought that we'd organised some kind of playfully anti-semitic gag.

| REMORAMA Bondi. Been there. Couple of times. Rather tricky currents or ndertows as I remember them being called? Told by an old and dear friend the beach had been carefully designed like that to be safer for Northern Hem tourists, who flock there in huge lemming-like numbers? Very Nice! Must be fun sitting there over Shredded Arugula watching the 'drowing not waving' as hunks in funny little hats only the pope would wear (on windy days) slowly get the message that YES perhaps SHE does need HELP! Horrid stuff seawater. Remind me next time to join you for the view. And pass the pinot Sean, you lucky fellow! I think I would like to meat with you!!
