I haven't lived in Sydney for about 5 years, but whenever I have to buy a gift for someone back home this is the first place I go. I pretend the store is still around, for my own peace of mind, but actually the website is much more convenient for me now! I heart Remo.

German born theoretical physicist Werner Heisenberg is perhaps best known for his 1927 Uncertainty Principle.

Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle states that determining the position and momentum of a particle necessarily contains errors the product of which cannot be less than the quantum constant h. These errors are negligible in general and on a human scale but become critical when studying very small things like atoms.

In other words ... the mere act of observing a thing, hits that thing with light particles (photons) and moves it; so by the time you actually see the thing, it has moved to somewhere else. (Damn!)

Please bear this in mind.

The uncertainty principle humbled my cocky attitude towards physics. I wear the shirt to pay homage to greater minds.

I love this shirt. See http://www.dialogcrm.com/blog/2006/12/31/real-change-means-more-than-a-heisenberg-t-shirt/

heisenberg ~ uncertainty ~ indeterminacy ~ all things possible ~ quantum entanglements ~ even ~ mmm ~ to entangle ~ to cuddle ~ to communities ~ to network effects ~ this is the subtle message of this ~ REMOT ~ entanglement rules ~ but ~ the deeper aspects of quantum logic ~ clearly lost on ~ some? :]]

"Moved to somewhere else ..." just like the Remo bricks and mortar store in Sydney - I looked but only once and not only did it move but it never ever really came back! Or it did but years later a ghost of its former self as nothing more than a bunch of photons where Heisenberg rules and quantum effects are at their most horrid! Great move Remo - NOT!

A step back from the original design. Why, REMO, why?!? Drunken perverts squinting at chest height to read the caption? No, thank you.
