I left sydney in 1989 and spent the next 10 years in Paris and had severe Remo withdrawls so would have to come back every year or so to go shopping. Then in 1991 or 1992 Remo was on line so I saved a fortune on airline tickets but spent it all online (c'est la vie) Here we are 2004 and Remo is back BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO!

FINALLY ... THEY ARE HERE!

Welcome to the first ever book version of our famous Tempus Fugit WallPlanner. It's a planner and a notebook rolled into one ... designed with our customary attention to detail, and manufactured especially for us using the highest quality materials and processes.

"Tempus Fugit" (Latin for Time Flies) was originally developed by the REMO General Store back in 1991 as an A1 sized wallplanner, and has been published in that format ever since.

For 2009, as an alternative to the more editorially intense Printed Thing that we published for 2008, we thought that we might try to take the original idea behind Tempus Fugit and adapt it for use as a diary and weekly planner-come-notebook ... a handsomely bound and deeply functional book, this time not something to leave at home on the coffee table (or in the toilet), but rather something to accompany you on your life journey into and through 2009.

Here's what we've jammed into 248 section-sewn FSC-certified plantation pulp paper pages:

+ 69 Weekly Spreads: 6 Oct 2008 to 31 Jan 2010
+ 69 Great Quotes ... One for Each Week
+ 2009 at a Glance: The Year at a View
+ 9 Pages FYI Jam Packed Full of Useful Reference Data
+ 82 Blank Pages for Notes: Lists, Plain, Lined & Squared
+ 16 Pages of REMO Information including a Range List

Other Features

+ Embossed Hardcover
+ Black or Red (his and hers?)
+ Sturdy Elastic Closure
+ Ribbon Marker
+ Back Cover Pocket

Dimensions: 204mm tall x 148mm wide x 15mm thick

DEVELOPMENT STORYThanks to the CustOMERs who helped us with this development. Once again we received and followed the many inspiring suggestions posted in our online development labs e.g. 77% of CustOMERs voting in This Poll told us to morph our 2008 Printed Thing into a fully functional planner notebook for 2009. To all of you ... here it is! Also, one of our CustOMERs suggested the extension of our normal 63 week coverage to 69 weeks. (See Belinda's 12 June comment in the relevant CustOMER Forum HERE.) As a result, and literally at the 11th hour, we changed ... not only this Planner Notebook, but also the WallPlanner on which it was based ... the first major format change to Tempus Fugit in almost 18 years.

So, don't think we're not listening ;)

Enjoy the fruits of our collective CustOMER labour, and please let us know below what you think below ... or in the relevant CustOMER Forum HERE. It'll be fun to work on making Tempus Fugit better and better over time.

Lyndell Murray

Lyndell Murray has given this product a 5 star rating | The Zen of Organisation
As a self confessed "list junkie" this has plenty of room for all my lists - my weekly to-do list as well as all my gunna lists. When I feel like I'm getting a little over the top with my obsession to be organised... there are quotes to read and pics to view. Just right.

Kate Andrews has given this product a 5 star rating | A new favourite
I didn't think it was possible, but this planner (in red, of course) offers me more of what I love than the Moleskine combined diary/notebook I've been using for the last couple of years. I'm besotted.

Just what I need. Lots of space to write stuff each week and masses of notes pages. Maybe some Address Book pages next year?

*HUGE Grin* Mine arrived today... Everything I could ask for an more. Love every feature, from the blank pages, to weekly quotes to make me smile. To many great features to list. My current diary is falling apart so I can't wait to start using this. Hope it will be an annual feature....

I'll have one. That's the easy decision. Now the tough one - Red or Black?

The [advance copy] planners arrived and Angus and I are chuffed with ours. He agrees, these are the best planners we have seen in a very long time!

Elizabeth Brimmer

Elizabeth Brimmer has given this product a 4 star rating | More please!
I am in love with the red! Brilliant design. The only suggestion I can make is to second the motion that these be made in an A4 size. I use a home diary to keep track of the family and need it nice and big to fit everything in and for it to be visible amongst the clutter of daily living. The notebook size is lovely and portable but something bigger would be great for "fixed" planners too...

Luke Fuller

Luke Fuller has given this product a 4 star rating | Great Design
Fantastic design with a robust cover. Paper is strong and textured and the fountain pen writes without bleed. My only suggestion: an A4 option next year? Day space is good for keeping appointments but little else. Note space on the side is plentiful but sometimes I like to take notes in the actual day space.

Could be better than the Moleskin if it were a little bigger.

The red is fantastic.

Beautiful quality, lush design, lots of "note" and "doodle" space. A noteworthy tome. Can we please have just a little more whimsey in '10?

Paul Harrison

Paul Harrison has given this product a 4 star rating | Great - but more subtlety maybe next time
Hi Guys Love the idea, and will probably buy one. But I reckon you should go easy on the branding... that's what I've always loved about REMO, you don't overdo the "in your face" marketing stuff. The notebook cover looks just a bit OTT in terms of making sure everyone knows it's a REMO. Maybe just emboss on the spine... then we can show that we're part of the REMO gang, but not show off. Love you, love your work. PJH

Can anyone comment on the paper stock? (Texture, finish, receptiveness to: pencil, biro, fountain pen, rollerball, gel inks..., ability to erase nicely, etc.)
