Classic French Eau De Toilette

L'Aromarine (meaning "of the sea") have been manufacturing perfumes and perfumery products in France for just over 20 years. Elevated to cult-like status due to the fact this range is made by hand and is traditionally hard to find, L'Aromarine is one of the few remaining perfumeries still manufacturing their bath & perfume products in central Paris. With a reputation for quality, using original artworks in their deco style glass packaging and offering uniquely "real" aromas, their line-up of Eaux de Toilettes capture the glamour of Paris in the early part of the 20th century.

Their rich and appealing scents are classic yet contemporary and are based on extracts from two suppliers in Grasse. We've selected six eaux de toilettes from their Classic Fragrance Line:

+ Vanille: one of the most popular from the L'Aromarine range; fragranced with natural essence of toasted French Vanilla bean. Warm and not too sweet, this is a very seductive perfume.

+ Tropique: a smooth and soft floral with a seductively hypnotic tropical vanilla base

+ Florale: as its title suggests; a bouquet of floral essences; not too sweet; a classic french fragrance

+ Violette: soft and delicate, alluring as a bunch of freshly plucked purple violet petals

+ Fleurs Blanches (white flowers): a tempting bouquet of white jasmine, gardenia, honeysuckle with a hint of lilac

+ Fushia: top notes of bergamot, lemon, limette & green shoots; middle notes of jasmin, white flowers, rose & Lily of the Valley; and bottom notes of cedar & musk; sheer floral heaven!

I recently bought myself the Violette L'Aromarine and it's lovely. I have sought out the views of others as well (I do anything to get other people up close) and the feedback has been generally positive. The Violette fragrance is not as nanaish as you might think.

Sweet, vanilla'ey goodness. I can't stop sniffing myself but happily have managed (thus far) to avoid licking myself...delish!

the bottle is cute and i love the label BUT it smells so very, VERY sweet - much like rasberry cordial. i am not a fan, hopefully my 6yr old niece will love it and wear it and not get carried away by ants whilst doing so.
