I'm delighted that the concept and the business of Remo lives on. And thank you for keeping in touch. I really loved the shop in Sydney, it showed so well that retail didn't have to be boring, impersonal and predictable. It was a joy to wander the store and just soak up the vision and the interesting products. I never bought much (sorry) but always planned to go back and buy up big when I won lotto. And then the store was gone (and I never did win lotto!). But I still have all your old catalogues too - works of art in their own right. Oh, and I treasure my mad dog plate and a few other (will-be) heirlooms.

From the heart of the ancient Mayan Empire comes a remarkable new product.

Pino de Ocote is a fatwood pine cultivated in the highlands of Guatemala and Mexico. With its 80% resin content, the wood is very easy to light, even when wet; and produces an extremely hot flame.

Maya Dust is shavings from this wood packed into a convenient water proof tin that is easy to carry in your pocket or backpack. Gives maximum heat energy for minimal weight.

Use Maya Dust together with your Swedish FireSteel to light your campfire with ease.
