| I live in (or out of) my car and these bags are great. I work between 3 offices and need to keep lots of stuff in my car in an easy to grab & run form. They are big enough & deep enough to carry heaps, and small enough I can get 4 ( 2nd order is on its way) into the boot of my hatch.

| Practical and Beautiful Maybe they don't replace the 10 ugly green ones (a shopping trolley does though) but for a trip to the market or small shopping forays they're practical and look great.

| Great basket - but the price I have looooved my carry basket - great size, easy to carry, keeps stuff inside more protected than other althernatives. but am disappointed having seen the same product retailing in my home town for 1/3 the price!

| Lovely, but... Yes, the Green bags are a bit garish, but when you're using them to do the weekly or fortnightly shop it's not like you can afford (nor should you afford, really) to replace them all with these. I have 8 Green bags which have also helped me move house 3 times - you can load them up with so much stuff! I'm sure these Reisenthel baskets are lovely and strong, but it's hard to justify $99 compared to $2, don't you think?

| Not really collapsible Just a note to anyone who misunderstood the listing and hoped this (admittedly gorgeous) bag pops up and down like a jack-in-the-box for storage. Nup. Once it's put together (it has hard plastic connector rail thingies which have to be inserted to make it stand up nice and tall), it's quite difficult to shrink back down again (the thingies have to come out, which is fingernail-unfriendly). Best left UP.

| Ugly green shopping bag replacement.... When you come to design a replacement for the green bags remember that a lot of us are still stuck in the burbs shopping with a car. The green bags are soft, fold flat and are square when packed making them easy to pack into a car boot- empty or full. The square-soft shape also makes it easy to pack with boxes or bags. Make it beautiful but sadly function will need to come first.
