Noted aromatherapist Clive Newland and his dynamic wife Dee Light have run Noosa's Newland Aroma Apothecary (a tiny rare essential oil mecca) since 1999.

When their flagship product "Gorgeous Over Thirty Bunches Of Real Roses In A Jar Double Blended Cream" was born, it wasn't for public consumption. It was rather a private gift from Clive to Dee in response to her plea "Please make me a moisturiser that just works." And when a longstanding aromatherapist of some repute makes his own wife a moisturiser, he doesn't hold back.

Gorgeous Rose Cream has lived up to that promise and has become a well kept secret for many discrete women around Australia who love to have their skincare custom made. Dee is also now fielding enquiries from all over the world.

Clive and Dee are devoted to hand blending and packaging, and are absolutely fastidious about using the world's finest natural ingredients. (We verified this with Jeffrey at Northern Light Candles, another quality evangelist, and he gave them the double thumbs up!) That's why you won't find this quite sumptuous rose cream everywhere. It's simply impossible to produce on a large commercial scale.

Over 1.5kg of roses are used to make the essential oil used in a single jar of Gorgeous Rose Cream (thankfully, Dee has sanctioned this abbreviation). The cream is a blend of African shea butter, cold pressed Italian hazelnut oil, the world's finest Bulgarian Rose Damascena Otto, Turkish Rose Damascena Absolute, Myrrh and Geranium.

No water. No petroleum by-products. No unwanted chemicals.

This from Dee (and read her other comments below):

"It moisturises for hours, and has a cumulative effect over months of usage. It softens and plumps skin and once again gives it that juicy glow. It doubles as a luscious body cream, neck and bust cream, eye cream, and hand cream. Even feet. One cream is all you need. It simply works."

| Absolutely superb

| addiction warning!
I've just ordered my third jar of the wondrous roses cream, first bought it in late 2005 I think. I use it overnight, it lasts for ages, and has a wonderful impact on my skin. In winter, I also slather it on before I walk the dog on those icy early mornings here in Canberra. But watch out - it's addictive! I recently ran out while on an overseas trip, and being without it was awful! Once you've used it, nothing else compares.

| heaven in a jar
I'm a sucker for beautiful packaging and this one is as gorgeous as it claims...as for the Roses cream....worth it alone for the smell but it truly does make your skin feel soft and smooth.An indulgence? After just a few days this one has moved to my necessities list!

| gorgeous roses cream
from the decadent packaging to the first wiff of roses,mmmmmmmmmmm this becomes a very personal experience,used sparinly this is the ultimate female product.My skin looks devine,not my opinion compliments from others,besides wearing this reminds of turquoise seas the hinterland of Noosa and all it has to offer!!

...I am so thrilled that you have found Gorgeous Rose Cream...I have been using it for 2 years, and just love that I am NOT soaking my skin and body in suspect cocktails of chemicals; instead I am slathering myself in truly pure rose oils..(nothing like Granny spelt of either!) I know it costs a bit, but I am afraid I don't just annoint my face daintily, I lavish it on my neck, boobs, arms and hands and get lots of comments about my luscious aroma...who needs perfume!

| LOVE IT
A quick gorgeous update from us. Gorgeous is now one of only two Australian brands in Hong Kong's prestigious Joyce Beauty, and we've just graced the skins of Charlize Theron and Woody Harrelson in Hollywood's Battle in Seattle. We've also been tested up against the two Big Brand ultra expensive creams, over a three week trial, and come out on top. Needless to say we don't have $1 million to throw at the glossies, so you'll not hear about us there! (we did grace the editorial pages of UK Wallpaper last year, next to Armani..).but thanks to Remo we are now being quietly represented all over the word, for people like you, in the know. Thank you!

| Luxurious face cream
You really do only need a tiny bit of this extravagant cream. It smells divine and makes you feel soft and supple. My only misgiving is that it is quite greasy and makes me look shiny, so I recommend it for overnight use. I do not, however, wake up with a skerrick of greasiness on my face. A truly wonderful product that is bound to last for a long time, when used sparingly, as advised.
