It's nice in this fast paced world that we live in that there is a place, online, where one may stop and pause for breath. A place where there are like minds who agree on what is good in the world and, where the emphasis is not on what is going wrong but more on how we can make it more right.
As someone who works at a break neck pace in the world of events 7 days a week it's nice to go where things slow down a little, where people are passionate. It's nice to go to that place in my mind I call REMO.

| Magical Not only are they delish, but also very good for morning sickness, seedy hungover tummies, and travel sickness (gotta love ginger!). Even better, according to my Sumatran husband, young Indonesian school kids believe that ginger candies also scare away bad spirits/ ghosts. Magic candy!

| The Best I missed these candies so much when Remo closed. For a special treat I would wander into the Oxford Street store and buy a tin. Everyone got them for Chrissy presents too. There is no better ginger treat in the world ! Thanks for bringing them back.

| ~ mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ~ rediscovered these again in a supermarket in Hong Kong last year and immediately gorged myself. they're hot! they're sweet! they're sticky! they're chewy! if you like syrupy ginger, crystallised ginger or even savoury ginger, you'll find them just as addictive...

| original currency I met these in Java where the currency is so inflated you get one or two of these as change instead of many many annoying coins. They were a shock to the tastebuds and an entertaining lost-lasting chew

| BETTER IF YOURE PATIENT these candies are what they are. always were soft and chewy. secret is if you can hold out and suck on it (instead of chewing) the flavour hits you hard!

| Gluey & Spicy They cling to their wrappers in an inordinately tenacious way, making every lolly an adventure in intra-oral wax-paper separation. Otherwise, delightfully gingery.
