| Close but no cigar Recently acquired this while also 'saving' on your great T sale.
You're right - one for the object afficianados (guilty as charged), but must also meet their high standards. I'll forgive the advertising hyperbole - which is at odds with the admirably simple packaging. The pen works fine, nice in the hand etc, BUT: there is free-play between the halves - they don't sit snug on the barrel, and you can toy with them (or be irritated) by waggling the halves, closed or open. Not what I expected from Germany at this price point. Sad but true.
My tools of trade these past 25 years or so, apart from the computer keyboard, has been a set of Cross Century Classic pen & pencil. They're just perfect, proving that old technology doesn't necessarily mean poor technology, especially when it's executed right - and the lifetime guarantee will do me against USUS's 10,000 year magnets. And as for the nano coating ... well, these advertising scribes do get carried away.
Still, one for the collection ... look forward to Mk II or III when they've ironed out the kinks.
Ciao, Dave
