First bought a Remo shirt while visiting Sydney in January 1995. I STILL have the shirt but have longed for more ever since.

The Adelaide Fringe is widely regarded as one of the best festival events of its kind in the world. Rivalled in size only by Edinburgh, the Adelaide Fringe program generates massive enthusiasm & attendance and a unique sense of community and excitement in that city when it comes around (every two years).

The strangely appealing mutant deer on this T Shirt is the poster child (literally) of Adelaide Fringe 2002 and the result of a competition that generated huge interest from artists and designers all over Australia. The winning entry was submitted by 25 year old Luke Scholes, a freelance designer from country Victoria.

"We chose Luke's design for three reasons: it is a really joyful and celebratory image, it is accessible to everyone from three year olds to ninety year olds and finally because it fits perfectly into the Necessity is the Mother of Invention theme for Adelaide Fringe 2002", enthused Fringe Artistic Director, Katrina Sedgewick (incidentally a REMO alumna ... captured here in 1993 in the front row holding a marshmallow number "1").

Finally, if you like this new design (and we think you will), you'd probably also like Chickie, another member of the winning REMO team from 1993.

Great shirt! It's gorgeous, it's arty, and it supports the Adelaide Fringe Festival. I rate it highly.

williamzillian ~ likes this ~ so i have to rate ~ but what can i say ~ used to live near adelaide once ~ at the bay ~ which was considered to be ~ the fringe ~ at the time ~ not so now ~ one suspects ~ trams ~ that rocked ~ literally ~ right into the city centre ~ queen victoria also there ~ house ~ simon and ben ~ beach ~ but no surf ~ except during storms ~ white pointers ~ probably ~ further down ~ the coast ~ nightmares personified ~ unlike this graphic ~ which says it all ~ about adelaide ~ the fringe ~ even :)
