Growing up in a v. small country town (pop.800), I registered to receive the Remo Catalogue back in about 1989. It made me feel very hip and groovy whilst living in rural Australia. On infrequent trips to Sydney, a visit to the Oxford St Remo store was a must. I still have a Remo long-sleeve T with the words to Cole Porter's "You're the Tops" which I've now had for more than 10 years.

| TERRIFIC INDEED! But PLEASE make it long-sleeved as well. Want to be warmer in winter and rollup in summer .... also avoid many cancerous lesions on the forearms.

| Flag potential Look, here's my take on the flag issue. Take this design and remove the kangaroo (it's a cliche). The background colours make a great two-stripe flag. Maybe make the shade a bit more vivid and you have the colours of the Oz landscape. The bright blue of the sky and sea in the southern hemisphere. And the yellow/ochre sand of beach or desert. Beats all that stupid green and gold bollocks. Write to the PM about it (not that he's do anything). Leaving aside the execrable politics it repesents, the current flag is a design abomination.

| FRIGIT! Nice design and I hate to go phonetic on you but frig-it! What's this obsession you have with your flag? Look at what happened to the northern neighbours! They elected to run with a red leaf and ended up where ... having to give half the place away, for free! Now there's an omen for you! And now you with a RED kangaroo! I ask you. What chance have you got? If 'prior art' nazis don't get you, some crazy vivi-sectionist most certainly will. You're definitely on a winner here ... NOT! We simply add to our flag, and it keeps on getting better and better star ratings! I realise you have that small top left artifact to contend with. But hey, do we know how to fix that ... simple ... want us to tell you how?

| frigate magnificens yes ~ this is very good ~ and ~ yes ~ it would indeed make for a great flag ~ but o.n.l.y if you enter the contest! ~ expect a little flak from the darkside ~ and ~ qantas even ~ are these but one and the same? ~ word ~ "frigate" ~ o thanks ~ now can't stop thinking about it ~ believe a frigate is a ~ sea bird of prey ~ which xlates well to a ~ navy vessel ~ with most likely a ~ similar disposition?
